Malvasia lunga elegantly and richly expresses the rugged terrain of the upper Maremma in Lazio. It was likely cultivated here since medieval times. In fact, it owes its name to a port city in the Peloponnese, which in the Middle Ages was a major export center for sweet and spicy wines, appreciated throughout Europe.
With aromas of white flowers and white-fleshed fruit, Danza degli Dèi is the worthy heir of one of the world's oldest grape varieties. Harvesting was done without mechanical means. The palate is fresh, savory, and aromatic, ranging from greenish to golden straw yellow.
With aromatic and fruity notes, it's perfect with fish dishes, white meats, blue cheeses, and vegetables. Malvasia Bianca Lunga is also excellent as an aperitif and with leavened desserts.
Dance of the Gods is recommended at a temperature ranging from 10°C to 12°C, in order to enhance its freshness and delicate aromas.
